If you missed the first Wimbledon Village sketchwalk last month, come join us on Sunday 6 August.
Wimbledon Village is renowned for its charm, history and association with the iconic Wimbledon Tennis Tournament. An elegant enclave on a hill, the Village has well preserved period buildings and a delightful mix of amenities, independent boutiques and charming pubs and cafes. In this sketchwalk we have an opportunity to capture the bustling atmosphere of the village itself, or commune with nature amid the leafy greenery of Wimbledon Common nearby.
For all the details, please see the original blog post.
Join the Wimbledon Village sketchwalk group chat for last minute updates
If you follow Urban Sketchers London on Facebook, you might have noticed each of our sketchwalk events now has its own chat group. If you join the Wimbledon Village sketchwalk chat, we can stay in touch with you on the day and let you know of any last minute changes of plan. That's especially important for locations like this one, where there is no rainy-day shelter for our group throwdowns. But urban sketchers are a hearty bunch, so join the chat and let's stay in touch!
