Let’s draw London in 2023

Let's draw London!

We’re drawing London in 2023

This year we're doubling our monthly sketchwalks with extra sessions on Sundays, and bringing back our popular weekday 'Summer Lates'.

As always, our regular sketch walks are free, and there's no need to book. Just show up with your drawing kit.

See you at the next sketchwalk!

Details for each event are posted nearer the time on the Urban Sketchers London blog and social media accounts (scroll down for links to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter). Our list is provisional; we will be flexible to accommodate any disruptions, such as travel constraints.

  1. Hello from Austin, Texas USA. I’m visiting London in March, but unfortunately flying out on the 18th when you have your meet-up. I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations for best places to sketch (good views of important landmarks, not too crowded, etc.). We’re staying in the Notting Hill area but will be all over London over ten days. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

  2. Hi Sheila, welcome to London. If you look through the details of previous sketchcrawls in the blog archive on the right of this page you will see a wide range of locations with ideas for sketching. I hope you are inspired! You might also look at our book, available above, which is full of sketches around the capital, many of them reflecting the wide range of opportunities here.
