Please note that the V&A has restrictions on the materials that can be used for sketching in the galleries and where you can sketch - see  for full information see the V&A Guidelines or see Making a Mark post on drawing on galleries and museums and look for the V&A (towards the end of the post).
Given the restrictions and that I would like to use watercolours, I will be painting outside in the surrounding area on the day.

Sketching programme for 2015

As Katherine mentioned, last week we had a meeting to organise our programme of sketchcrawls for 2015. See below our ideas and dates to pencil in your diaries. Please bear in mind that towards the end of the year dates may change. In any case, we will be posting updates closer to each date with details of times and where to meet before and after. 

• 7th February 2015 -  British Museum
• 7th March 2015  - Victoria and Albert Museum/ South Kensington
• 26th April 2015  - Millenium Bridge North Bank/ St Paul's/ One New Change
• May2015 (date tbc) - Kew Gardens
• June2015 (date tbc) - Hampstead Heath and Hampstead Village
• 11th July 2015 (tbc) - Day Trip to Oxford
• August2015 (date tbc) -  St James/ Mall Gallery event
• September 2015 (date tbc) - Blackheath Festival
• 10th October 2015 - Chelsea Embankment/ Battersea Reach/ Battersea Park & Power Station
• 7th November 2015 - Borough Market
• 12th December 2015 -  National Gallery/Trafalgar Square at Christmas

In addition, there are other venues that we are investigating in order to get access for the group
